Three Giants Of Pashto Poetry By Mahmood Ali Ayub & Shahab Aziz Arman

"The Pashtun are known as formidable warriors; but their brilliant poetic soul and deep longings are less well known. This book corrects that imbalance. It is a labor of love."

Akbar Ahmed, Distinguished Professor, Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies, American University, Washington D.C.

"This book reminds the reader that Pashto poetry is not a peripheral or regional curiosity. It is a major literary and ethical tradition, capable of engaging with the same questions that have preoccupied the greatest minds of world literature."

Khalid Rauf Qureshi, Acclaimed author, poet, structural engineer, IT infrastructure specialist, and Founder of the Qureshi International Charity Fund. Markham, Ontario,
Canada.
