Dog Days: Diary Of a Wimpy Kid

In "Dog Days", Greg Heffley tries to enjoy his summer vacation, but things don’t go as planned. He’s stuck at home, avoiding the heat and looking for ways to entertain himself. His family has its own set of complications—his dad is obsessed with getting him outside for physical activities, while Greg just wants to lounge around playing video games. Things get even more complicated when Greg ends up in the doghouse (literally), trying to care for a new pet, a dog named Sweetie, who causes chaos at every turn. As Greg struggles to balance his family's expectations, his social life, and his love of comfort, he faces the typical, hilarious trials of being a middle schooler.
The book features the usual humor, illustrations, and relatable moments that Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans love, showcasing Greg's awkward interactions and comedic outlook on life.
